Really? While he really does kill trillions during the novel, he still isn't as cool as you say.

Main reason is his fuckup on letting down pretty much all his followers who died for him. After so many promises of revenge, he just slaps one hand of his former disciple saying "you should think about it and then you can find me again" while the female supreme tells her childish grievance and he says "ohhh, there was that?". His whole revenge pretty much gets directed to one poor sod while both female antagonists get harsh look.

That is one point where novel really turns from good to shit and only the continuation in supreme divine realm saves it.

He is far from being cool as Su Yi (Jiandao Di Yi Xian), Lin Dong (Wu Dong Qian Kun) or Qin Chen (Wu shen zhu zai) or some other MCs who never break their character

Story is actually really good until that part where he gets into "can't kill women". Even more so when one things how much grief he caused to his granddisciple who never betrayed him at all. He was literally exterminating whole cities because someone looked him wrong, but then his disciple killed trillions of his ppl and she gets "ok, try doing better next time". Other one was actual cause and effect for all his deaths and she gets a pass because he realises he lived one more life than he thought

And after this is over, story gets better again. It is like story starts 7/10, continues 8/10, drops to -1/10 and then returns back to 8/10

His knowledge is clearly inferior when it comes to xinxia series.
